Murtha Must Go…to trial.

In view of recent events in the Middle East, I think that a few things need to be pointed out for clarification. These are all things that we are aware of, but if we don’t lay our cards on the table, no one is ever going to acknowledge what has truly happened. It is a terrible thing to say, but I will say it, and I do not say it lightly or in a fit of ideological pique. Mr. Murtha is a traitor. I could name other Democrat leaders in America as well, but here we are focusing on Mr. Murtha. First, I want to share something that is profoundly revealing about why I’m saying this.

First, here are a couple of quotes from Congressman Murtha. Keep in mind that these are only two examples of many.

On 17 November 2005, his website quotes him as saying: "Our military has done everything that has been asked of them, the U.S. can not accomplish anything further in Iraq militarily. IT IS TIME TO BRING THEM HOME."
On December 1, 2005, the AP quotes him: “Most U.S. troops will leave Iraq within a year because the Army is "broken, worn out" and "living hand to mouth."

Now examine only one result of such words from Mr. Murtha and others.

"Rice's most recent outreach to Iran was hardly timed to succeed. The Iranian leadership had heard Rep. John Murtha and Sen. John Kerry's declarations of defeat in Iraq. It felt emboldened. In addition, it understood Rice's May 31 offer of negotiations as a sign of weakness. Less than a week later, on June 4, Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei declared, "In Iraq, you failed. Why do you not admit that you are weak and your razor is blunt?" Engaging overconfident adversaries leads to entrenchment. That adversaries rebuff offers of concessions with more violence should not surprise."

Pro-Arab and Muslim websites are quoting Mr. Murtha verbatim. His words have encouraged our enemies to keep fighting and to increase their efforts. His speeches, when combined with articles and editorials from the New York Times, the LA Times and news outlets such as the AP, Reuters, and others, have only encouraged those who want to kill you. The increased terrorist activities in Iraq, train bombings in India, the tragedy in Somalia, are all the fault of anti-American propaganda provided by Mr. Murtha and others.

Additionally, the religion of Islam sees such attempts at diplomacy by Mrs. Rice and others as a sign of weakness. The very fact that we send a woman to do our business with them is only a further sign of weakness in their eyes. They consider it an insult. Iran has backed Muslim terrorists for years. Now he has turned them loose in Israel….because the dictator-tyrant of Iran has been encouraged by the words of men like John Murtha.

Until today, much like the death of a certain archduke before World War 1, I had thought that Corporal Galid Shalit was the ‘causative agent’ in a blooming region conflict. Today I had time for further consideration and thought. Although Iran “pulled the trigger,” men like Mr. John Murtha encouraged them to do so.

Whom are you voting for this fall? Are you voting for a corrupt politician who is even now facing a House ethics investigation? Are you going to vote for a politician who has given our enemies the courage to continue their war with America? Are you going to vote for and support someone like Diana Irey, instead? If you are a friend and supporter of John Murtha, you are no friend of mine. Indeed, you are my deadliest enemy. John Murtha is trying to get us all killed. It is quite possible that he has already succeeded.
