On Sunday, May 7, 2006, appearing on NBC’s "Meet the (De)Press(ed)," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said "No deficit spending. I pledge that to you."
Considering Mr. Murtha's statement yesterday on Meet the Press that "When we had a tax cut under Reagan, we then had a tax increase because he had to change direction", does this mean that he'd vote to increase taxes in order to end budget deficits? After all, his constituents have a right to know if this is another area where he's advocating "a change of course."
