John Murtha it seems fired off a little letter to the WaPo this weekend for Sunday's edition whining that the labels being attached to he and his Dimmocratic comrades are being unfair to the exalted party of Cut & Run.Why, may I ask.. is it name calling when referring to: a group of legislators that want to redeploy, reposition, redraw, re-align (or whatever it is they are calling it this week)-our troops in the midst of a war being faught, thus emboldening the enemy encouraging them to keep fighting, as the party of Cut & Run?
Isn't that what leaving the Iraqi's high and dry before the fine job our first rate military has invested so much of their lives and souls as well as our country's treasure is completed would be?
What else would bolting when the job is almost 3/4 of the way done, like the troops in Vietnam were forced to do by these same defeatist appeasement groups, be called?
How about "defeat through appeasement"? How about "snatching defeat from the jaws of victory"? Naw, those work, but I prefer Cut and Run, in this case it's quite pithy as Bill O'Reilly likes to say.
And that 1st cut and run coming after fighting a war in which not one single field battle was lost by the US and yet the soldiers return to their homes here having to hang their heads in shame of defeat for almost 30 years after the fact. This due to the subversive defeatocrats actions back then in the 60's, led by that Lib Wonder, Captain of the swiftboat to nowhere, John Kerry.
Not to mention the abomidable treatment received from those very anti-war people once they the soldiers returned to the states..we all remember that don't we? The same people calling for the end of the war then turned on the soldiers when they did return from the war. You can damn well be sure those gallant soldiers remember it, every aching painful minute, the ones that at least made it home alive that is..
The calls of Baby Killer, being spat at on their return in our airports, at parades or anywhere else the soldiers could be found for that matter. In fact, even today's Iraqi freedom and Afghanistan soldiers are receiving the very same treatment from the rejuvenated 2006 version of those left wing loons and their indoctrinated offspring.
Oh yes, I forgot. Excuuuuse me......they on the left support the troops but just not the war. Yeah, that's the ticket. You mean just like the support they gave the troops accused in Camp Pendleton, in Haditha, particularly the now infamous "Killed In Cold Blood" treatment given to them by this blogs' guest of honor, good Old Jihad-Jack Murtha? With support like that the troops don't need enemies.

In his opinion piece, first published on the Post's Web site Saturday night, Murtha, D-Pa., said Vice President Dick Cheney, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld and others in the White House have called Iraq war opponents appeasers and pessimists and labeled Democrats the 'cut and run' party.
'It's all baseless name-calling, and it's all wrong,' Murtha wrote. 'Unless, of course, being a Defeatocrat means taking a good hard look at the administration's Iraq policy and determining that it's a failure." full story
